To right this wrong, can Speaker McCarthy tell the GOP to pass the Washington DC admission act, and can someone introduce it into the Senate?

The President will then sign it, and DC will be a state!

Why is this important?

As DC Mayor Muriel Bowser stated: "Even though we’re bigger by population than two states and pay more per capita than any state; we pay more in total federal taxes than 22 states. "
