We demand that Congressman Huffman (CA-2) comply with U.S. law and international law and end funding of the Israeli military. The Israeli military has engaged in genocidal policies during the ongoing war on Gaza and now even the pretense of abiding by the January ceasefire agreement, resuming relentless bombing of a besieged population. Further, Israel has embraced President Trump’s plan to ethnically cleanse Gaza of all Palestinian residents. Trump’s plan is not only “unworkable”, but this diabolical scheme represents a terrible crime against humanity. Mere criticism of Trump’s words on the issue of Palestine, when Huffman manages even that, simply will not be enough. Huffman must refuse to fund the genocidal actions of Israel and its plans for ethnic cleansing.
Make no mistake, the Israeli government has promised to support Trump’s plan. We demand therefore that Congressman Huffman end his partnership with Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump. Huffman must not support any congressional action to further aid to Israel.

We have had enough of Huffman’s lip-service to peace, while his actions serve unending war, including genocidal actions condemned by human rights organizations like Amnesty International, and now a fully transparent attempt at cruel ethnic-cleansing.
Ending U.S. sponsorship of the Israeli military is the only legal and moral choice. Continued funding of these atrocities will not create peace or give anyone security. With Prime Minister Netanyahu’s decision, in concert with President Trump, to resume the bombing of Gaza, this demand has a special urgency.

Why is this important?
Israel's genocidal onslaught against the people of Gaza since October 2023, funded in large part by the United States with the support of Congressman Huffman, will be central to Huffman’s legacy. The systematic and very deliberate destruction of more than 80% of the homes of the Palestinians who lived, worked, played and raised families in their homeland, is the horror story of the 21st century. Over 18,000 children killed, many by U.S.-supplied weaponry. Hospitals and schools were targeted by the Israeli military.
Now is the time for Huffman to reject, unequivocally, in word and deed, Trump's plan to support the resumption of bombing and the planned ethnic cleansing of Gaza and the West Bank. Huffman must instead support massive reparations to the Palestinian people so they can rebuild their homes and lives in their homeland.
