Put forward a resolution prohibiting the United States government or any entity that claims U.S. citizenship or residency (e.g. Academi (Triple Canopy) to stay away from Venezuela and to use a third party (e.g. Mexico, Vatican, Uruguay) to negotiate a settlement in Venezuela with the opposing parties. Also for the U.S. to end the economic sanctions against Venezuela immediately.
Why is this important?
The people of Venezuela need a respite from violence and suffering and have the right to determine their own future.
