Stop Turkish War on Syrian Kurds

The Democratic Federation of Northern Syria, also known as Rojava, is a de facto autonomous region in northern Syria. It was created by what the US Media refers to as the "Peshmurga", in the absense of Syrian state presence and the impending march of ISIS on Kurdish and other local communities. Since 2012, the three regions of Afrin, Jazira and Euphrates have engaged in a radical democracy experiment that has a feminist ecological lense, including a democratically organized military infrastruacture that has been the most effective military opponent of ISIS and thus has been supported by the US Military in their efforts to free ISIS sex slaves and territory.

Northern Syria is polyethnic and home to sizeable ethnic Kurdish, Arab, Assyrian-Syriac, and Turkmen populations; with smaller communities of ethnic Armenians and Chechens. Parts of northeastern Syria are regarded by Kurdish nationalists as Western Kurdistan one of the four parts of Greater Kurdistan. Much of Northern Syria is also considered by Syriac-Assyrians as Gozarto (meaning Upper Mesopotamia), part of the historical Syriac-Assyrian homeland.

The supporters of the region argue that it is an officially secular polity based on a libertarian socialist ideology promoting decentralization, gender equality, environmental sustainability and pluralistic tolerance for religious, cultural and political diversity, and that these values are mirrored in its constitution, society, and politics, claiming it to be a model for a federalized Syria as a whole, rather than outright independence.

The people of ROJAVA deserve peace with their neighbors NOT TURKISH aggression.
