Enacting voting reform before this country tears itself apart. We stand about to elect one of the two most hated people in the country as President leaving the vast majority of Americans even more bitter and distrustful of government. This is entirely due to both parties colluding to make sure they were always in power. If you don't fix it there will not be a country in 4 years.
Ditch the electoral college. Implement either approval voting or Instant runoff for Presidential races. And make congress multimember districts with ranked choice voting.
Why is this important?
No one thinks their vote matters and therefore no one trusts the government.
